On 8 September 2022, the Adelaide Business School and Australian Institute of Company Directors hosted a research seminar on the topic of Environmental Social Governance (ESG).

ESG presents one of the most complex challenges facing leaders today. Organisations across Australia are increasingly being asked to consider and account for environmental and social risks, such as climate change and ethical breaches in supply chains. 

As such, the seminar convened an expert panel of Non-Executive Directors who explored how they approach ESG, including emerging issues that national companies are grappling with. Through an interactive session Adelaide Business School researchers were able to share ideas around new solutions to challenges that industry and boards face in the area of corporate governance and ESG.
