Mentoring Event
On 9 June 2022, the Hon. Emily Bourke MLC, Assistant Minister to the Premier and special guest speakers, Prof. Jodie Conduit and Mr. Adrian Skull (Board Member, Green Industries SA and Green Adelaide) spoke with Adelaide Business School staff and students on the topic of mentoring.
The audience gained great insight from the speakers who shared their experience with mentoring, elements that make a successful mentoring relationship, as well as advice on how people seeking out a mentor or mentee could approach the process of finding a suitable match.
The Hon. Emily Bourke MLC, Assistant Minister to the Premier also kindly provided the audience with mentoring advice for staff on the SA Government’s agenda, including how researchers can use their skills to contribute to future state goals.
Overall, the event centred on a message of hope, generosity, and constructing a better world for future generations.
