Welcome to Executive Education at the University of Adelaide.

We deliver advanced executive education for senior managers, professionals and emerging leaders, across business, government and industry. With 20 years’ experience we are trusted experts in delivering face-to-face executive courses for both individuals and organisations.

We work to create informed, capable and innovative leaders. Our participants gain new knowledge, broader perspectives, fresh insights, and effective strategies to implement back in their organisations.

Our training incorporates the latest insights and research with best business practices, delivered by distinguished professors and experienced business leaders. We ensure our education offering is continually enhanced and relevant by remaining tuned in to the fast changing business environment.

These programs may be delivered in our new state-of-the-art facilities, at client sites or other external training venues. Each year we deliver 200+ training days to around 1,000 managers, with 50% of these representing customised programs.

Executive Education facilities

Training rooms:

Our modern training facilities are conveniently located on the corner of Pulteney Street and North Terrace in the city of Adelaide, within the University of Adelaide's Nexus10 building. Training rooms can accommodate up to 30 participants in a comfortable environment overlooking the city and University main campus, and offer the latest visual and audio technologies.

For larger groups or if you are looking for a unique experience for your customised program you may consider using facilities on the University of Adelaide's main campus. With diverse options from traditional and historic buildings to the latest modern facilities, we can find the perfect venue for your group, providing an unforgettable experience.

On-site catering:

As part of your training program we provide catering. Our on-site catering facilities allow us to offer an extensive selection of options, from quick lunches to sit-down hot meals. Throughout the day participants have continuous access to refreshments, including an extensive range of hot beverages. 

In most instances our discreet catering staff are able to set up catering in spaces allocated to each of our training facilities, ensuring minimal disruption in the classroom and timely serving during breaks.

Meet the team

Jeremy Glaros

Executive director

Jeremy heads up our Executive Education team, with ultimate responsibility for both open and custom programs. He has an extensive background in business both in Australia and internationally, having worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Sydney and in investment banking with Macquarie in Hong Kong, building expertise in areas including strategy, business improvement and transformation across a variety of industries.

Jeremy has a Masters of Finance from INSEAD and an Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Adelaide.

Debbie Constable

Relationships manager

As Relationship Manager, Debbie’s role is responsible for the growth and development of new and existing opportunities with a particular focus on Executive Education.

Debbie is passionate about connecting and building sustainable relationships with business and understanding their needs to tailor a training solution to align with business objectives and elevate organisational capability.

Sarah Knapper

Programs coordinator

As the Programs Coordinator in Executive Education, Sarah is responsible for managing the portfolio of programs for individuals. A graduate of the University of Durham and Macquarie University, Sarah has held roles in policy, performance and accreditation in sectors including tertiary education, social housing, and policing.

Having worked at the University of Adelaide since 2015, Sarah has developed her knowledge of tertiary education, especially in Executive Education. Her main responsibilities involve designing the suite of programs available to individuals, responding to customer queries about programs for individuals, and liaising with clients and key stakeholders to assess their executive education needs

Melanie Winter

Project administrator

Melanie is the Project Administrator for Executive Education, supporting the delivery of both open and customised programs and other events, with the view to enable professional growth for individuals and organisations.

She draws upon 10 years’ experience working in events and program management, network and committee coordination, communications, member/customer service and office administration in the local government, not for profit and water industry sectors in South Australia.

Sophie Westley

Events and programs coordinator

Sophie comes to the University of Adelaide with extensive experience in customer service and administration in both the higher education sector and tourism and hospitality industries.

Her past roles include Assistant Module Coordinator, Academic Services Officer and as a Specialised Trip Leader in Europe.

Sophie's responsibilities include the coordination of the front of house operations for Executive Education ensuring that service levels are of an exemplary standard across all programs and events.

Vicky Hurcum

Administrative officer

Vicky works with Executive Education as our Administrative Officer, providing excellent customer service to participants seeking to register and enquire about our programs and courses.

Vicky has worked with the University of Adelaide since 2014, bringing extensive experience in administration and customer service, most notable 10 years as an administrator in the health sector in the UK.

Expert presenters

All Executive Education programs are taught by experts in their field, with extensive real-world or academic experience. Most are regular lecturers in the Adelaide MBA, and many are actively involved in senior management consulting roles with national and international experience.
