An effective way to condense studies into a shorter period of time. Each course is delivered over a 12-week trimester, fast-tracking your course and getting you where you need to be sooner. There are three trimesters in an academic year.
Online study matches the quality of the rigorous curriculum delivered in our face-to-face study option, delivered in a convenient format that helps you fit study into your busy lifestyle.
Perfect for professionals who work full time. Most after-hours classes are presented on weeknights in 3-hour teaching blocks, while other courses are delivered fortnightly on Saturdays in 6-hour teaching blocks.
Intensive mode is on-campus study in Adelaide, without the need to attend regular weekly classes. Instead, you will attend two or three full-day opening and closing sessions per course. Assessments such as assignments, group work and exams are completed as part of each course. Condensing on-campus time into brief, intensive blocks reduces the need for regular commuting and represents a great choice for those who might find traditional weekly classes difficult to factor into their lifestyle.
All programs can be studied part-time or full-time. You decide how many courses you enrol in each trimester/semester.
Generally, a full-time load is three or four courses per trimester/semester.
A part-time study load is typically one or two courses each trimester/semester.
It is recommended that part-time students enrol in one course in their first semester of study in order to determine the workload requirements.
Part-time study is not recommended for international students, as they are required to complete their program within the standard duration for that program (e.g. 3 years).
Think outside the trimester and semester. Courses are taught in intensive mode - usually over a period of 3 - 4 weeks during the University summer and winter holidays.
Taking courses in summer or winter school is a great way to accelerate your study, catch up on missed courses or broaden your educational experience.
