Class and Assessment Policies

Assessment Items

Courses in the MBA programs have a minimum of three assessment items. Students may be assessed on the following:

• Assignments - including individual and group assignments, and class presentations
• Examinations
• Class participation (selected courses only)

A minimum of 60% of the total value of a course's assessment will be devoted to individual work, which may be in the form of assignments, examinations, tests, etc. Students must attain an average value of at least 50% for all individual assessed items in order to pass the overall course.

Students must make themselves aware of the University's policies on plagiarism.

Mobile Phone Policy

To ensure a quality environment for all students, mobile phones must be switched off before class commences. If you are required to have your phone on in the case of an emergency, please let your lecturer know in advance and ensure your phone is switched to silent mode.
